What is Cable Harness Test?

In the cable harness test, it supplies the best solution for testing applications where threaded probes are used. These can be high temperature, high current, pneumatic and switch probes as well as pushback probes for connectors and hardness testing. Cable harness is the cables which are capable of transmitting informational signals or operating currents.  These wires in the cable harness are then bound together with electrical tape, cable ties, conduit or clamps.

The cable harness provides many advantages as compared to loose cables or wires. These are very commonly used in motor cars and construction machinery. You can get another advantage by using this is the wires in cable harness are less likely to short and installation is made easier.  These are generally made and designed for electrical purposes. They may also be assembled with on a pin- board or assembly board according to the specific design of the cable harness. In automobiles. Most of the manufacturers today fabricate these harnesses by using the finest grade of materials. They are also stringently tested on each stage of fabrication to guarantee defect free harnesses. These types of harnesses are used for all types of vehicles like passenger cars, commercial vehicles, two wheelers and three wheelers, multi-utility vehicles, farm, material handling equipment and off-the-road vehicles.
Pre-production can be automated, and some of these processes may include:
o    Crimping terminals onto one or both sides of the wire
o        Twisting wires
o        Soldering wire ends
o        Cutting individual wires
