In-circuit
test (ICT)
In-circuit test (ICT) system is an
example of white box testing where an electrical probe tests a populated
printed circuit board (PCB), checking for shorts, opens, resistance,
capacitance, and other basic quantities which will show whether the assembly
was correctly fabricated. It may be performed with a bed of nails type test
fixture and specialist test equipment, or with a fixtureless in-circuit test
setup.

Test Programming
A software programme is required for
each board to be tested by an in-circuit tester. It is possible for much of the
ICT Test Programming to be generated automatically from knowledge of the
circuit. This can be provided very easily from the printed circuit files.

Test Probe
The range of ICT test probes
comprises all standard series of products which have established themselves on
the market as international standards. These are test probes for centers from
50 mil to 100 mil with a large selection of different tip styles and contact
pressures for almost all test requirements.
